Marupote two-tone felted bag
Hello, everyone! Here's the seasonal Marupote series!
As the iconic bag of Enakuam, it always makes an appearance around this time of year.
People often say they get lots of compliments when they walk around town with their Marupote. 

It's a mix of embarrassment and joy—such a warm feeling! 
Creating this round shape was a real challenge. Since felt cannot accommodate a core or structure, we had to shape and full the wool by hand. We also developed unique tools to make the process efficient for mass production. 
It took years of trial and error, but the results are worth it. Now, we're so happy to bring Marupote to you every year that we can hardly recall the struggles it took to get here. 

The roundness you see in the photos is exactly how it looks in real life—no editing or filters, just the authentic product. 
The bag has a fabric closure that can be tied to keep the contents secure. 
You can even drape your favorite cloth over it for an extra touch of charm. 
As it’s made of felt, you may notice some shedding when you first start using it, but the fibers will gradually settle and stop falling out over time. 
If pilling occurs from friction with clothing, simply trim it with scissors. Avoid pulling the pills off by hand, as this could loosen the felted wool that has set into place. We recommend caring for it just as you would a wool sweater. Treat it with love, and it'll stay beautiful for years to come!

Color fading and staining may also occur. To prevent mold due to humidity, please store in a dry place. Placing it with wet items may cause color transfer. From an ecological standpoint, variations in leather color and minor imperfections are inspected and approved according to our quality standards.
